Products

What kinds of kiosks and terminals does MHY manufacture?
MHY manufactures five product lines in its own Shenzhen factory: self-service kiosks (self-order, self-checkout, payment, hotel check-in and ticket kiosks), ID and passport readers, payment and POS terminals, industrial panel PCs and digital signage displays. The catalog covers 500+ standard models, all of which can be OEM/ODM customized.
What is the difference between a self-order kiosk and a self-checkout kiosk?
A self-order kiosk sits at the front of a restaurant or cafe: customers browse the menu, customize items and pay before the kitchen prepares the order. A self-checkout kiosk is used in retail and supermarkets: shoppers scan barcodes of goods already selected, bag them and pay. MHY builds both, and the touchscreen, scanner, payment and printer modules can be configured for either workflow.
Which operating systems do your kiosks support?
Most MHY kiosks and panel PCs are available with Windows, Android or Linux (including Ubuntu). We can pre-load your software image, configure kiosk-mode lockdown and provide SDK/API documentation so your application controls printers, scanners, readers and payment modules.

OEM/ODM

What can be customized on an OEM/ODM kiosk?
Almost everything: enclosure shape and color, silk-screen or laser logo and boot animation, screen size, floor-standing/desktop/wall-mount form factor, printer, barcode scanner, NFC, RFID, camera, fingerprint, cash and cashless payment modules, operating system image, SDK/API integration, connectivity and branded packaging. You can start from a standard model or commission a fully original enclosure.
What is the MOQ for OEM customization?
Single-unit samples are accepted for evaluation. Logo, color, module and software configuration can be customized at small quantities, while new enclosure tooling is most cost-effective from around 50 units per model. We will propose the most economical route — standard, lightly customized or fully custom — after reviewing your specification.
Do you provide SDKs and technical support for software integration?
Yes. Peripherals such as passport readers, scanners, printers and payment modules include SDKs and documented APIs, and our software engineers offer joint debugging support. Passport readers, for example, expose interfaces on Windows and Linux for check-in, border-control and visitor-management platforms.

Ordering & MOQ

What is the lead time for samples and bulk orders?
Standard configured samples typically ship within 3–7 days, and bulk standard orders within 15–30 days depending on quantity and module availability. Fully custom OEM enclosure projects usually take 35–60 days including design confirmation, prototype, pilot run and mass production.
Can I order a sample before committing to a volume purchase?
Yes, and we recommend it. A standard or lightly configured sample lets your software team test integration and your operations team evaluate ergonomics before the specification and tooling are locked for production.
How do I request a quotation?
Use the form on the Contact page or email sales@kiosksourcing.com with the product or use case, required modules, operating system, quantity, destination country and timeline. Engineering-reviewed replies, including feasibility and indicative pricing, are sent within 24 hours.

Payment & Shipping

What payment terms do you accept?
Sample orders are commonly paid by bank transfer (T/T), PayPal or trade-assurance platforms. Volume production orders typically use a 30% deposit with the balance paid before shipment; L/C at sight can be discussed for large projects. Your sales engineer confirms the terms on the proforma invoice.
Which shipping methods and Incoterms are available?
We ship worldwide by sea (LCL/FCL), air or express courier such as DHL, FedEx and UPS, and can quote EXW, FOB, CIF or DDP terms. Freight-optimized export packaging, palletization and shipping documents are handled by our logistics team.
Do you handle customs documentation for international orders?
We provide commercial invoice, packing list and other standard export documents, and can supply certificates and test reports your customs clearance or regulatory process requires. Import duties, taxes and local compliance registration remain the buyer's responsibility unless DDP terms are agreed.

Certification

Which certifications do your products hold?
Standard products are CE, FCC and RoHS compliant, the factory operates under ISO 9001 quality management, CCC is available for the China market, and industrial models offer IP65 front-panel protection. Ask for the current certificates for the exact model you need, as fitted modules can affect the documentation set.
Can you arrange certifications required by my target market?
For OEM projects we can coordinate additional target-market testing and certification, as well as pre-shipment inspections. Share the destination country and any tender or operator requirements at the design stage so the correct components and test plan are selected.
Do your passport readers meet ICAO 9303 standards?
Yes. Our ID/passport readers support ICAO Document 9303, reading MRZ through OCR and chip data through RFID for e-passports, plus national ID cards, visas and other travel documents. They are designed for hotel check-in, airport and border-control, visitor-management and access-control integrations.

Warranty & Support

What warranty comes with the kiosks?
Standard products carry a manufacturer warranty against defects in materials and workmanship, with an optional extended warranty of up to 3 years on qualifying models and projects. Consumables and damage from misuse, unauthorized repair or abnormal operating conditions are excluded.
How do I get spare parts and after-sales support?
Replacement modules — printers, scanners, screens, readers and power supplies — are available for the service life of the product, and we provide troubleshooting guidance, firmware files and remote support to your technical team. Volume partners can stock recommended spare-part kits with their order.
Do you offer remote or on-site technical support?
Support is primarily remote by email and messaging with 24/7 emergency response for deployed projects, including joint debugging during integration. On-site commissioning or training can be arranged for large roll-outs under separate agreement; most operational issues are resolved remotely through modular component replacement.
